Every weekend, an enthusiastic mediator introduces you to one of our current exhibitions. This weekend, discover Olivier Debré?s painting on stage. The exhibition is organized along four axes, embodying the four stage curtains created by the artist: the Comédie-Française theater (Paris, 1987), the Hong Kong opera (1989), the Abbesses theater (Paris, 1996), the Shanghai opera (1998). For obvious reasons, the CCC OD will not be showing the stage curtains themselves, but will be concentrating on the “maquettes” or “esquisses” produced. Although this exhibition will not be a game of seven wrongs, it will of course be an opportunity to examine the similarities that persist from one to the next.
