This Californian quartet, formed in 1991 by Bob Venuum and his wife, the torrid Lisa Kekaula Venuum, swears by a scathing “Rock?n?Soul” influenced by The Who, the MC5, Wayne Kramer solo, Funkadelic? and others The finesse of Soul, the rage of Rock?n?Roll, energy and sweetness, power and class?every BellRays concert is a great moment. Largely influenced by sixties garage rock, Limoges-based band THE LOST COMMUNISTS will open the evening with their rhythm?n?blues and soul-infused rock?n-roll.
