Right in the centre of Nantes, the Musée Dobrée is made up of two remarkable buildings: the neo-medieval Palais Dobrée, with its tower over 30 metres tall, and the Manoir de la Touche, a former episcopal residence.
Bearing the ‘Musée de France’ distinction, the Musée Dobrée is currently closed for renovations. During this time, its collections are exhibited in off-site locations: the ‘Egypt of the Pharaohs’ exhibition at the Château de Châteaubriant from 12 June to 29 November, and the exhibition ‘The Cacault Brothers: From Rome to Clisson’ at La Garenne Lemot in Gétigné from 3 July to 8 November.
From 19 September 2015, the Musée Dobrée will host a temporary on-site exhibition. Spoken languages :French
