Videographer, film critic and well-known youtuber Judith Beauvallet, aka Demoiselles d’Horreur, puts the spotlight on women and female characters in genre films (we’ll use this concept to include horror, thrillers, fantasy and science fiction).
Her videos have accumulated over 500,000 views, and have won the loyalty of some 20,000 subscribers.
With film sequences and detailed analyses, Judith Beauvallet tells us all about Alita, Leïa, Katniss Everdeen or Ripley, the survivor of the “Alien” saga and the quintessential SF heroine.
