Les contes à paillettes

Tata Foxie and La Déliche are colorful creatures in heels, who love to tell their best stories with feathers and steam: princesses with mustaches, others who tame dragons, a long-haired frog who falls in love with a pink toad, a tiny knight, a cat who is a dog or a prince who falls in love with another prince? Since 2017 and the start of their partnership at the Gaîté Lyrique in Paris, Les Paillettes have been questioning our times by drawing on the symbolic and universal power of fairy tales. Through their readings and other performances, the collective explores issues of inclusion and equality, and questions the normalization of representations.
