A playful and scientific discovery of plant diversity at the Jardin Botanique de Tours The City of Tours and the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Tours have joined forces to offer this cycle of educational activities at the Jardin Botanique. This activity, dedicated to the young public, gives everyone a simple introduction to the science of plants: botany. Like scientists in a laboratory, young participants will learn to handle binocular magnifying glasses and look through them to discover all the surprising aspects of stems, leaves, petals and even the plant reproductive system we use to identify plants. What is a plant? Why get to know a plant? What part of a plant do we need to look at?
