How many of them live in the head of Arnaud Aymard, who has been inventing eccentric characters for 20 years? The latest is a hermit poet who lives deep in the woods, jotting down in his notebooks what he hears and observes of the world with his slightly naive heart.
Jean-Noël Mistral had his heyday on the Radio Nova morning show, hosted by Édouard Baer. Since his radio stint, he has returned to his path of coppices, cicadas, cedar hedges and dew.
This barefoot wanderer doesn’t care about fame or modernity. He’s not here to please: poetry is his way of being in the world, and sharing it with us.
With his fragile voice and razor-sharp accent, he reads his best poems.
