“Outch” is perhaps the onomatopoeia that best sums up this evening, which promises to be perhaps the angriest of the quarter, with the arrival of Quebecers (from Quebec City) Get The Shot and their fiery, unpretentious hardcore tinged with the despair of cold, discontented youth. On the road since 2009, the band is now one of the spearheads of hardcore thrash alongside their direct influences: Comeback Kid, Death Before Dishonor, Bane? Hold on to your cans, there’s going to be some serious swank in the pit.
Accompanying them on their FR tour are Hard Mind from Rennes, regulars at bars and Riip Fest, and opening at Le Bateau ivre on November 20, local quartet Alma, with their old-school trash accents and energy as contagious as it is fearsome.
