Fondation du Doute – Museum

Conceived by the artist Ben Vautier and supported by the town of Blois, the Fondation du Doubt is an unusual venue dedicated to contemporary art. Covering an area of almost 1,500 m2, it features a permanent exhibition devoted to Fluxus, a major international movement of the 20th century, temporary exhibitions and a rich and varied programme of events devoted to contemporary art. The Fondation du doute is : – Two floors dedicated to a permanent exhibition; – A glass pavilion in the former cloister, dedicated to temporary exhibitions; – The Wall of Words, a monumental work by Ben created in 1995 on the façade as part of a public commission, bringing together more than 300 of the artist’s paintings and writings; – Le Fluxus café, a convivial venue for programming and meetings;
