Situated in the heart of the Sancerre region, the 17 hectares of Domaine Martin are mainly located around Chavignol, a small winegrowing village also famous for its cheese, the “crottin de chavignol”
Worked in the traditional way, some of the estate’s terroirs are already world-famous such as the Monts Damnés and Le Cul de Beaujeu
The son Pierre, who returned to the estate 10 years ago, keeps the same working methods as his ancestors. The year 2010 was marked by the birth of his son Louis, of the same name as his great-grandfather, who may one day take over the reins. The estate is now in conversion to organic farming.
