Why is the Château d’Amboise as we know it today? What choices were made when the Ruprich-Roberts restored it between 1871 and 1928 – a late restoration compared to other Loire châteaux? Solène Feix has just completed a Master’s thesis on this subject at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, and will be presenting the results of her research on Saturday November 2 at 3pm at the Musée d’Art et d’Histoire d’Amboise!
