PARC DE DECOUVERTE CAP LOIRE

Cap Loire is a visitor attraction exploring the world of the Loire and its boats. Here, there are no boats on the water! They’re displayed right in the gardens, allowing visitors to explore them on dry land. Visit the Cap Vert barge for a true immersion into the world of the rivermen.

The site is divided into four areas:

- The exhibition, which immerses you in the life of river boatmen through hands-on experiences, interactive displays and films.
- A tour of the Cap Vert barge, where you can become the captain of the boat.
- 1 hectare of themed gardens, featuring the iconic Montjeannaise, a genuine traditional wooden Loire boat 15 metres long
- An area dedicated to fishing on the Loire with La Billette, a ‘toue cabanée’ (a type of fishing barge) and its huge weir net used for catching European shad.

Highlights: Explore the park in a fun, self-guided way with a giant ‘Where’s Denis?’ seek-and-find game – over 50 objects to find in the exhibition, the boat and the garden!

Over 100 dates for activities and big games are on offer from April to November: Easter egg hunts, treasure hunts, treasure trails, giant ‘Where’s Denis?’ games, escape games, secret passages…
